It's August 1, so the new website has been launched. I'll be real with you: it still isn't quite how I want it to be. But hey, baby steps. Right?
A change we've made is that you can now make payments through the website. We can certainly still do Paypal outside of the website, but more and more clients have requested a Paypal alternative. Before placing an order, please send me a message! Soon I'll make a blog post introducing ourselves, explaining how we do things here, yadda-yadda. So if you happened to stumble upon this website by chance and you're new to us, hang tight! You can always send us a message via the contact form on the website or through social media, too, if you have any questions.
Some quick "to-knows" for folks looking for freelance services:
We always offer a free sample edit prior to booking new projects. This way you can try before you buy to make sure we're a good fit (it's SO important to find the right editor/writing partner) and it helps me to give you the best rate and delivery time.
Coaching will start back up in September. With all of the website work on top of my normal full-time job (that's how we keep our rates low), I'm doing my best not to stretch myself too thin.
We work with fiction primarily. On occasion, we'll consider working on a non-fiction project if it feels right, but we do prefer to stick with fiction for the most part.
We are booked until October. This means our soonest delivery time would be early October. I'll be running a sale on our freelance services for horror fiction, so keep an eye out for that if you're a horror author.
What's the deal with the little coffee cup? Oh, this links to my BuyMeACoffee page, which is super in need of an overhaul and revision... Don't judge the page too much. I'd like to get a video series going on there soon. For now, I'm using it as an online tip jar, really. We do our best to keep our rates affordable, so if you're super thrilled about the work we've done for you, are feeling generous, or want to do something to "pay it forward," tips are appreciated and help us to keep running things the way we have been. No pressure ever!
